First time I’ve ever tried Big Al’s and I don’t think there is a single place in South Africa who does chips better than this place. The food overall was really really good! But the chips were the very obvious stand out. The staff were friendly too. The place could be slightly cleaner and it’s kind of weird that there’s an ‘unopened’ space called ‘Torpedos’ sharing the place. But aside from the very few and barely noticeable flaws, this place will definitely have my repeated business.

Had big als food for the first time and was really impressed. Special thanks to the lady who took our order, very friendly and I assume was the manager on duty that made sure we were sorted after getting our food.

The food was delicious! The burgers and chips are of great quality and a good portion size. The options on the menu were limited, but what they did have was tasty.

I ordered from mr D and my word the best burger ever. My new obsession. The only thing I would change is their bun. But the burger was so good it made up for the bun.
